the Doctors

About Dr. Miller
Dr. Miller was born in Princeton, Indiana. He attended college at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana, where he graduated with honors in pre-dentistry. Graduating in 1976 with honors from Indiana University School of Dentistry, he then went on to complete a two-year pediatric dental residency at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Miller has practiced Pediatric Dentistry in the Newburgh and Evansville Indiana area since 1978. He is married with three children. His wife is also a dental hygienist.

He is a Board Certified member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Other memberships include the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Dental Association, Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Indiana Dental Association, the local First District Dental Association and is on staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Being a pilot, Dr. Miller enjoys traveling and visiting close friends. Other interests include playing saxophone and singing at church. Seventeen years of his past included singing in a rock-n-roll band. He also enjoys painting with watercolors, as well as other forms of art.

In 1998, Dr. Miller started going on annual mission trips to Port-de-Paix, Haiti. He visitst the Sonlight Academy where he and his team treats over 300 kids during their one week stay.

Dr. Miller has previously served as President of the Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry and has been politically active the past few years in the state's organization.

The proudest accomplishments involve his family and seeing his children grow into successful Christian adults.

 

About Dr. Cook
Dr. Cook was raised on a small farm in Brazil, Indiana. He received his Bachelor of Science with high distinction from Indiana State University. He then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with high honors. Dr. Cook completed a two-year residency at James Witcomb Riley Hospital for Children, where he received a certificate in pediatric dentistry and a Master of Science in Dentistry. During his second year of the program, Dr. Cook had the honor of being Chief Resident of the pediatric dental program. Dr. Cook is on staff at St. Mary's Hospital and Deaconess Hospital in Evansville Indiana as a Pediatric Dentist.

While in residency and dental school, Dr. Cook made three trips to Calnali, Mexico, located in the Sierra Madrid Mountains, where he provided dentistry for the under-served children. During his last trip to Mexico, he was involved in dental caries research and had his research entitled, "Dental Caries experience and association to risk indicators of remote rural populations" published in the Intermediate Journal of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Cook and his wife enjoy spending time with friends and family. At the moment, Their children consist of two Golden Retriever's (Murphy and Luna) and a cat (Marley). In his free time, Dr. Cook enjoys playing golf and any outdoor activity.
